For sale: 1981 honda fl250 odyssey

Has brand new uni air filter
Brand new front tires
Brand new 3-way fuel valve
Less then 2 hours time on it since wheel bearings were packed
Wiring harness is all complete with the exception of missing a few of the connector ends at the headlight mount/connection
New cdi box
Strong running engine
Good belt and clutch

All new fuel lines and installed a new see through, in line fuel filter which is handy to verify fuel flow for any non-starting issues
Does not come with headlight assembly, however all the electrical wiring for the high/low beam light, including the factory 3 position light switch is intact
Brakes are a bit touchy and will lock up and bark at you with only moderate pressure

Fenders aren’t show pieces, they do what they are supposed to, they keep crap off of you and out of your eyes

My kids have put it to the test, it has some battle scars, the paint is worn, scratched, and faded. It has got a little spot of rust here and there…. But don’t be fooled by how it looks, you start it up and it runs like a top! Slide into the seat, and you had better be holding on because it will take you for a ride! It can light up the tires on dry asphalt

** if you purchase the machine, I’m asking an additional $200, for the battery box w/attached starter solenoid and wiring, the ring gear, and a pull start delete plate
** if you are only interested in the electric start assembly, I am asking $300.

You will need to provide a battery, and either a light duty ignition swith, or push button starter switch, and the wiring to run from switch back to the quick connect wires that are attached at the battery box & starter solenoid.*****

I also have an assortment of extra parts lying around that I will be getting rid of and available on a cash-in-hand, first come-first serve basis!
I have 2-3 extra engines, I believe 2 are disassembled, pressure washed & ready for hot tank and rebuild, and assorted other engine parts, extra heads, extra set of wheels…

I have a complete hand brake caliper assembly with brand new set of brake pads
A couple of donor pull start assemblies that are for parts
A couple of new misc cables
A comet clutch that I am still on the fence about…
